Prisoner from Midwest, 12/6/2011

Hey,

So, I’m in the hole and a guy down the way was talking about a publication you put out, that’s free to inmates. Communication is kind of difficult down here but I was able to get your address and the general philosophy behind your operation.

Misdirected activism (and a particularly nasty case of being young and foolish) is what landed me in prison. It’s funny because I think the judge who sentenced me thought it would douse any of my flames of rebellion, and while those flames may have become more controlled and concealed, they have far from gone out.

Anyway, being locked up has taken me out of the loop and being in the hole has compounded that problem. Seriously, my brain is starving here, I need some information. A while back I had dropped off a letter to some crime thing far east P.O. Box I had gotten a hold of with no reply. I’m not sure what I had expected though.

All that said, I would be so thankful for anything you could send me – pamphlets, newsletter/newspaper – whatever. As long as it’s staple free and is delivered U.S. Mail, I’d be eternally grateful.  Thanks a mil,
